In this tutorial, we will learn how to connect the tools (Tools Connecting) on TEMS Investigation before making a Test Drive. Do not forget to prepare the following devices:
1. Laptop (Windows XP SP2 Min Core2 Processor, 512 MB RAM min min 10 GB hard drive).
2. Software TEMS Investigation 8.0.3
3. TEMS GSM Phone (T610) and 3G (Z800)
4. Data Cable
5. GPS
6. scanner (Opional)
Ok, just follow the steps as follows:
1. Turn on your handset and then noticed Z800 Equipment Configuration window in Workspace reply we have made yesterday
2. TEMS Investigation 8.0.3 will immediately detect so-identified tools and appeared in Navigator Bar (see fig.)
3. In the previous TEMS (under version 8), we have to manually enter the tools, as an example we use the T610. To put it in, how is:
a. Click the Add Equipment
b. Enter your reply T610 used ports (I see that port by opening the Device Manager and click on the Port, in this tutorial use port 36)
c. For GPS, TEMS recognized as NMEA 8013
d. Klik OK (look at image)
4. After all Device recognized, click the icon Connect All, or press the F2 key to connect peripheral devices to the TEMS Investigation.
5. When the device has been connected, the device icon will change color to GREEN. And if one device is lost, the icon will change to RED.
6. Sometimes we need to set further devices, such as the Z800 should lock in WCDMA frequency, or T610 should be on the Lock in the DCS 1800, then the way is to Right-click on the Device and Equipment Select Properties (in our example, this time we Lock in WCDMA Z800)
7. Click Ok
From Figure 2.3, it appears that we have managed to connect all the devices and parameters needful has emerged with a specific value, but we do not know what a site yg are serving us. Therefore should be included Files nama2 Cell (cell file) in a way follows:
a. Ctrl + Click Workspace Config (below far right)
b. Click Load on the window Cellfile General
